Any photograph purchased from us can be framed. We use 100% acid-free archival framing materials, which preserves the photograph over a long period of time. We frame using both float and traditional framing methods.
FLOAT FRAMING
With this style no glass is used. Instead a UV coating is applied to the face of the photograph. The photograph is then mounted to an extremely stable foam substrate that does not absorb moisture. This results in an extremely flat mounted photograph. The photo is then recessed into a float frame.
TRADITIONAL FRAMING
The traditional method is to place a piece of mat board over the photograph, with a window cut slightly smaller than the image. The image is revealed through the window of the mat board. In this case the glass touches the mat board, not the photograph.
