Lily Pads; August 5, 2002
This was shot in a very murky pond that was full of lily pads and lime green algae. It was most definitely the slimiest water I have ever entered. As I floated just under the surface creatures under the water continuously bumped against my body. At one point something leaped out of the water, flew over my body and landed back in the water on my opposite side. Keeping still was an exercise in composure. As with many of my self portraits I had help from my friend, Eric.
